Your programmes, reports and site photos are commercially sensitive, and your personal details are yours. P6 Pulse is built to keep both safe, and we run the business on one simple rule: your data exists to produce your reports, and nothing else.
Our privacy promise
We will never sell, share, rent or use your personal or professional data for any purpose other than providing the service you asked for. No advertising. No profiling. No AI training. No data brokers. Ever.
- We don't sell or rent data. Not to advertisers, data brokers, competitors or anyone else.
- We don't mine your programmes, costs or commercial positions for our own purposes.
- We don't use your files or reports to train AI models, and we don't allow our providers to either.
- We don't send marketing on behalf of third parties, and we don't share your contact details.
How we protect the platform
Security measures
Encrypted in transit
Every connection to P6 Pulse is encrypted over HTTPS, from sign-in to file upload to report download.
Passwords we can't read
Passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes. Nobody at P6 Pulse can see them, and we will never ask you for yours.
Secure sessions
Sign-in uses secure, HttpOnly cookies that can't be read by scripts. Sessions expire after 15 minutes and refresh automatically while you work.
Brute-force protection
After five failed sign-in attempts the account is locked for 15 minutes, which stops password-guessing attacks.
Strict separation between customers
Every request is checked against the signed-in account. Only a project's owner can see or change its programmes, files, registers and reports.
Invite-only, read-only portals
Stakeholders see only the projects you invite them to, can't change anything, and every view and download is logged for you to review.
Private file storage
XER and XML files, site photos and attachments are held in private cloud storage. They can only be downloaded through a signed-in, permission-checked request, never from a public link.
No card details held
Payments are handled entirely by PayPal. We never see, receive or store your card or bank details.
You stay in control
Delete projects, programme updates, files, photos and register items whenever you like. Deleted items are removed from your workspace immediately.
Transparency
The providers that help run the service
A small number of trusted providers process data strictly to run P6 Pulse for you. Each works under commercial terms that forbid using your data for their own purposes, including training AI models, and we comply with those terms assiduously.
Subscription payments. Card and bank details stay with PayPal.
Sending the emails you ask for: welcome and receipt emails, report packs and portal invitations.
Running the application, the database and private file storage.
Drafting the NEC4 programme narrative from your programme data, via a commercial API whose data is not used for model training.
Anonymous usage analytics
The site includes a platform analytics script that records anonymous page usage, such as which pages are visited and how long they take to load. It helps us keep the service fast and reliable. It is never used for advertising, is not sold, and does not read the contents of your programmes, reports or files. The live demo also counts anonymous visits using a random browser ID, with no personal details.
